The President further said that the open border between India and Nepal has given a boost to tourism from both sides. He stressed on the need to revive the spiritual tourism circuit for people-to-people contact and to promote tourism. He said that improvement in sister city agreement and financial relations were also commendable steps.
President Murmu said that Nepal is a priority for India. New Delhi looks forward to a development partnership with the Himalayan nation, including early completion of key projects. Meanwhile, Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in Delhi.
