Uniform Civil Code: National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah on Thursday advised the central government on the Uniform Civil Code. He said, ‘These days these people are talking about Uniform Civil Code, I think they should think in this direction. This country is full of diversity in which people of every religion and language live. Muslims have their own Shariat law which they must keep an eye on. They should think that no storm may come due to their taking this step.
Farooq Abdullah greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He got emotional while mentioning the importance of this day. He extended best wishes to the pilgrims going on the Amarnath Yatra starting from July 1.

Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah said that I pray to Allah to accept our sacrifices. Forgive our sins and free Jammu and Kashmir from the difficult times it is facing now.

How can the country run on two laws?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Bhopal on Tuesday, ‘In the name of Uniform Civil Code, the work of provoking people is being done. How can the country run on two laws? The Constitution of India also talks about equal rights of citizens. The Supreme Court has repeatedly said to bring Uniform Civil Code but these are vote bank hungry people.
