Modi Meloni Conference: Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who came to participate as the chief guest in the Raisina Dialogue, addressed the joint press conference with PM Modi. Addressing the press conference, PM Modi said that I welcome Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on her first visit to India.
In last year’s elections, the people of Italy voted her in and she became the first female and youngest PM of Italy. I congratulate him on behalf of Indians for this historic achievement.
Start up bridge will be established
PM Narendra Modi after meeting Italy’s PM Giorgia Meloni said that today we are announcing the establishment of Startup Bridge between India and Italy. We welcome it. The PM said that both the countries are going to start a new chapter in the field of defense cooperation.
Will make joint efforts in defense production
The PM said that India and Italy are celebrating the 75th anniversary of their bilateral relations. India will further strengthen its ties with Italy in the fields of renewable energy, hydrogen, IT, telecom, semiconductor and space. He further said that opportunities for co-production and co-development are arising in the defense manufacturing sector in India which can be beneficial for both the countries.
