West Bengal Violence: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday alleged that the BJP was responsible for the violence during Ram Navami processions in Hooghly and Howrah. BJP changed the time without anyone’s permission. Deliberately waiting for the time of Namaz to take out the procession. When the situation is under control in the violence affected areas, the BJP is again sending fact finding teams to incite violence.
The Fact Finding Team has responded to these allegations of Mamta Banerjee. Former Chief Justice of Patna High Court and member of Fact Finding Committee, Narasimha Reddy, who reached Kolkata, said why are you scared when you have nothing to hide.
Former Justice Reddy said that we have given an interim report to the Governor. It is our endeavor that normalcy is restored, peace prevails and those who have left their homes due to the riots come back.
