When Mahesh Bhatt eloped with Parveen

Bhatt further added, “The sets for ‘Shaan’ were set up and she was a big part of the film. I remember walking up to the director of the film, Ramesh Sippy’s office. I was nothing then. He just looked at me and said, ‘What’s up?’. Back then, mental illness was an enigma—it still is. The doctors said that it would take 6-8 weeks for him to return to normal.
Mahesh Bhatt made ‘Woh Lamhe’
Mahesh also made a film on his relationship with Parveen, which released in 2005, titled ‘Woh Lamhe’ and starred Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja. He further said, but there was not much time in the making of the film, foreign film professionals were involved in the film and the meter was running. A lot of money was spent on it. But then I kidnapped her and took her to Bangalore.
In ‘Woh Lamhe’, Kangana played the role of a film actress suffering from schizophrenia. Similar to what Mahesh revealed during the chat show, Kangana’s character is also influenced by Shiney’s character, who takes care of her and is a great director.
