Maharashtra: Uddhav Thackeray vs Eknath Shinde fight over Shiv Sena in Maharashtra has now intensified. On Saturday, Uddhav Thackeray announced that his election symbol would be a torch. He asked his supporters to go from street to street and tell people that the election symbol of his party, the bow and arrow, has been stolen. Uddhav even called CM Eknath Shinde a thief.
Uddhav Thackeray said that the thief was given the sacred ‘bow and arrows’. I challenge them that if they are men, they should come before us even with the stolen ‘bow and arrows’. We will fight the elections with the ‘torch’. This is our test, the battle has begun.
Thieves were given the holy ‘bow & arrow’, similarly the ‘torch’ (mashaal) can be taken away. I challenge them – if they’re men, come in front us even with the stolen ‘bow & arrow’, we’ll contest election with the ‘torch’. election commission is slave of pm
Uddhav also targeted Prime Minister Modi. He said that the PM thinks that he will destroy the Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena will never end. The Election Commission is a slave of the PM. What the commission did has never happened. I want to say that they want the face of Balasaheb Thackeray, they want the election symbol but not the family of Shiv Sena.
PM Narendra Modi needs Balasaheb Thackeray’s mask to come to Maharashtra. The people of the state know which face is real and which is not.
Pawar had given advice to Thackeray – there can be no discussion after the decision
Sharad Pawar had advised Uddhav Thackeray that this is the decision of the Election Commission. Once the decision is taken there can be no discussion. Accept it and get a new election symbol. It (going away of the old symbol) is not going to have a big impact as people will accept the new symbol.
He said that after the decision of the Election Commission, the only difference would be that people would discuss it for the next 15-30 days, apart from that nothing would matter.
Sharad Pawar said that people will accept the new symbol of the Uddhav Thackeray faction in the same way as they accepted the new symbol of the Congress. Let us tell you that in a big blow to the Uddhav Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena, the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday allotted the party name Shiv Sena and election symbol bow and arrow to the faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Rana’s taunt on Uddhav, what is not of Ram is of no use
On this issue, Independent MP from Amravati Navneet Rana has taunted Uddhav Thackeray. He said that what is not of Ram, what is not of Hanuman, is of no use. He has termed Eknath Shinde as a grassroots leader.
“The Ram that is not of Hanuman is of no use, Bholenath has given a beautiful prasad to Uddhav Thackeray”
