Maharashtra Politics: NCP President Sharad Pawar has given a big statement in the dispute between Eknath Shinde-Uddhav Thackeray over ‘Shiv Sena’ in Maharashtra. Along with this, he has also raised questions on the decision of the Election Commission.
Pawar said, ‘The Election Commission has given the same decision, which the Modi government wanted. Other institutions are also giving the same decisions as per the intention of the ruling government. Today, the organization working under the leadership of Modi in the country feels that the power will remain in his hands.

We have never seen such a decision of the Election Commission
The NCP president said, ‘The Election Commission had given a decision a few days back. This is an example of how an institution can be misused. We have never seen such a decision of the Election Commission. Balasaheb Thackeray had said in his last days that after him Uddhav Thackeray would be given the responsibility of Shiv Sena.
He said that someone complains to the Election Commission. After this, the Election Commission gives its verdict. The Commission allotted the election symbol and the name Shiv Sena to someone else from the founders of this party. This is the biggest attack on political parties.
The Supreme Court refused to stay the decision of the Election Commission
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Wednesday on Uddhav Thackeray’s petition regarding the Shiv Sena name and symbol dispute. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice PS Narasimha and Justice JB Pardiwala said that the Shinde faction has proved itself before the Election Commission.
In such a situation, we cannot stay the order of the Election Commission. Court has issued notice to Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde faction and sought reply in 2 weeks.
