Land For Jobs Scam: RJD MPs were enraged after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sent fresh summons to Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday. Regarding ED’s action against Lalu Yadav and his family in land-for-job scam case, Manoj Jha has said that BJP should remember that they will be treated the same when they are in opposition.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal MP said that the Modi government should arrest the entire opposition in one go. Make India opposition free. The MP said the ED’s raids on properties owned by Lalu Yadav and his family went on till midnight. He said that these raids were conducted when Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s wife Rajshree Yadav was in a critical state of pregnancy and there were children in the house.
Jha said – BJP This way waging a political battle
Manoj Jha alleged that the BJP was waging a political battle using central agencies. Closed cases are being reopened, agencies are being given a script. This is a matter of national concern. He also said that the central agencies have been made bonded labourers. He said that our supporters are angry. Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi have kept our workers under control.
Responding to a question about the CBI-ED action against AAP and BRS’s poetry, he sarcastically said, “Don’t act like a retailer. Act like a wholesaler. Arrest the entire opposition. Make it opposition free India. Like the Nagaland Assembly, where there is no opposition.”
