New Delhi: How can there be a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans and it is not discussed. The rivalry between the two teams has increased further after Rinku Singh hit 5 sixes to give KKR a win over GT. Once again both the teams were face to face on Saturday. In this match played at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, the match got stuck at one point, but this time the GT batsmen created such havoc in the last that snatched the match from the jaws of KKR.
73 runs were needed in 37 balls.
There came a time when Gujarat Titans had to score 73 runs in 37 balls to win. Means 2 runs on every ball and 12 runs per over… This scene was seen during the 14th over. Varun Chakraborty bowled 5 balls well in this over and gave only 5 runs in them. David Miller was playing 9 and Vijay Shankar scored 7 runs. No one knew what would happen in the match, but after that both the batsmen started changing gears. Miller hit a four on the sixth ball to start the mayhem brilliantly.
A 🔝 of the Table victory in Kolkata for the @gujarat_titans 🙌🏻
They ace the chase yet again to register their fourth away win in a row 👏🏻👏🏻
