Asif Suhaf, Srinagar: As part of the operation against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, Kishtwar police along with SOG on Saturday raided the house of Hizbul Mujahideen active terrorist Mudassir Ahmed in Darchan. Kishtwar SSP Khalil Ahmed Poswal said that Mudassir is an ‘A++’ category terrorist. He had joined Hizbul Mujahideen in 2018. There are five cases registered against this terrorist under UAPA.
Colleagues will be prosecuted
He said- After getting house search warrant from NIA Court Jammu, searches were conducted in his house. Several evidences have been seized during the search. These evidences will be examined. SSP Kishtwar further disclosed that all supporters/associates of terrorists found involved during the investigation will also be prosecuted.

Senior Superintendent of Police Khalil Ahmed Poswal has appealed to the people to inform the police whenever they see some anti-national and terrorist activities. He assured that the informer would be suitably rewarded and his identity would be kept secret.
