Efforts are on to identify the accused
According to railway sources, the search is on for the accused who executed the incident. It is being told that after the incident, the passengers pulled the chain after which the accused managed to escape taking advantage of the slow down of the train. Other passengers informed the Railway Protection Force (RPF) about the incident.
RPF has admitted the scorched people to the hospital. Police said two of the dead have been identified as Taufiq and Rehana. According to an eyewitness, soon after the train stopped on a bridge on the banks of Korapuzha river, a man in his 30s jumped and ran away.
