Karnataka: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday released the 13th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi from Belagavi in Karnataka. PM has transferred 2000 rupees to 8 crore farmers before Holi festival. A total of Rs 16,800 crore has been released. The 12th installment was released in October last year.

- Here the details of state, district, sub-district, block and village have to be filled.

Startup happened 100 years ago in Belagavi
PM Modi said that nowadays there is a lot of discussion about startups in our country, in Karnataka. But if we see, startups started in Belagavi even 100 years ago and since then Belagavi has become such a big base for various types of industries.
One lakh 25 thousand crore agriculture budget
The PM said that small farmers were neglected in our country for decades, now these small farmers are the priority of the BJP government. So far Rs 2.5 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of these small farmers. He said that in the year 2014, India’s agriculture budget was 25 thousand crores. This time our agriculture budget is more than Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand crore.

Farmers are getting the benefit of technology
The PM said that we laid emphasis on technology, the benefit of which is also being given to the farmers. You can imagine that if there were no Jan-Dhan bank accounts, no increase in mobile connections, no Aadhaar, would all this have been possible.
In Karnataka, in the five years before 2014, the budget of Railways was Rs 4 thousand crore in total, while this year Rs 7,500 crore has been kept for Railways in Karnataka. At present, work is going on in Karnataka on railway projects worth Rs 45 thousand crore.
No other country in the world has such a big program
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was also present in the programme. He said that PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is the innovative program of the world. Transfer of such a huge amount to people’s accounts does not happen in any country in the world. The Prime Minister has so far sent money to the accounts of 11.5 crore farmers in 12 installments.
