Asif Suhaf, Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action against terror for the second consecutive day. On Friday, the NIA attached the property of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist Basit Reshi in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Let us inform that on Thursday also the NIA had seized the property of terrorist Mushtaq Zargar.
The NIA action came after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) declared Basit Reshi a terrorist under the UAPA, a draconian act to control extremist activities. Please tell that terrorist Basit Reshi is currently hiding in Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Basit Ahmed Reshi is a member of the terrorist organization Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and was involved in activities against the country, including target killings in Jammu and Kashmir. The NIA claims that Basit Reshi had planned and executed the attack on a police guard post in Tujar Sheriff on August 18, 2015. A policeman and a civilian were killed in the attack.
