Jammu-Kashmir: Big action by security forces in Kishtwar, Hizbul Mujahideen associate arrested with Chinese grenade

Jammu and Kashmir: Kishtwar Police along with 17 Rashtriya Rifles and 52 Battalion teams of CRPF on Friday nabbed an active affiliate of Hizbul Mujahideen organization from Cherji Kishtwar. A Chinese grenade has been recovered from him.

In fact, the Kishtwar police had received information about the involvement of Mohammad Yusuf Chauhan, a resident of Chhar Cherji, in terrorist activities. A case has been registered in this regard. After this, SSP Khalil Poswal instructed the police teams along with Army and CRPF to take action. The team nabbed Yusuf on Friday.

SSP warned the youth

After this, a search operation has been started in Cherji, Chicha and Padyarna areas, so that the active terrorists of the district can be caught. SSP Kishtwar Poswal warned the youth not to get involved in terrorist activities. People are urged to inform the police about the movement/activities of terrorists, so that immediate retaliatory action can be taken against them.
