Jammu and Kashmir: A horrific accident took place on Saturday in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. In Reasi, the bus going to Shivkhodi carrying devotees lost control and overturned in a ditch. Due to this two devotees died, while 19 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Driver lost balance at a sudden turn
This accident is around 12:30 in the night. According to the police, the devotees were going to visit the Shivkhodi holy cave on Shivratri festival. The bus had left from Rajouri. But the driver suddenly lost control at a turn in Ransu area and the bus overturned and fell into the ditch.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, immediate relief and rescue operation was started. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, from where 12 were referred to the Medical College Jammu. At the same time, two people were declared dead by the doctors.

MP Jitendra Singh expressed grief
Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP from Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, has expressed grief over the accident. He has spoken to MP Bhartiben Shivalik regarding this incident. He said that every effort is being made for the treatment of the injured.
