Toshakhana Case: A new twist came to the fore in the Toshakhana case on Tuesday in Islamabad. A sessions court here issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan. According to a Geo News report, Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal pronounced the verdict after hearing the case.
Imran Khan was continuously absent from the muscle. The court got angry on this and issued a non-bailable warrant against him.
Imran appeared in four cases in one day
Imran Khan appeared in different courts on Tuesday on four matters. These are the cases
Foreign Funding- banking court
Terrorism anti terrorism court
Toshkhana- In the Sessions Court of F-8 Court
attempt to murder case– F-8 Court
PTI chief Imran Khan got bail in terrorism case. At the same time, his bail plea was also accepted in the foreign funding case. Relief has also been given in the attempt to murder case. But a non-bailable warrant was issued against him in the Toshakhana case.
What is Toshakhana case?
The Toshakhana case was filed against Imran Khan in August 2022. Imran was accused of not sharing details of Toshkhan gifts in the annual asset submission to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Then, the ECP disqualified Imran from holding public office for a short period. Not only this, Imran is also accused of dishonesty, fabricated information and making false declarations.
