Last year he was the winner
Last year, the IPL final was won by Hardik Pandya’s team Gujarat Titans. While the maximum runs were in the name of Jose Butler. He won the Orange Cap by scoring 863 runs in 17 matches. While RR teammate Yuzvendra Chahal won the Purple Cap with 27 wickets in 17 matches.
This time these will be the new rules
This time five new rules will be applicable in IPL 2023. If DRS can be used for wide and no-ball, then the impact player rule will also apply. Through this, an additional player can be brought in as a replacement for bowling or batting in the middle of the match. On field penalty has also been implemented for slow over rate. If a team does not bowl its overs in the stipulated time, only four fielders will be allowed outside the 30 yards during each over instead of five. After the toss, the playing-11 will be selected, then the rule of deadball and five penalty runs will apply. Under this, this punishment will be given on the inappropriate movement of the wicketkeeper or fielder.
