Indonesia Open Badminton: India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu has won the first round of Indonesia Open badminton. PV Sindhu avenged her previous two defeats against Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. Sindhu defeated Indonesia’s Tunjung 21-19, 21-15. This match lasted only 28 minutes.

Tunjung had earlier defeated Sindhu in the Spain Masters and in the semi-finals of the Malaysia Masters last month. But on Tuesday, the Indonesian player was trampled by Sindhu. In the first set, Sindhu won 21-19. Sindhu was on the attack in the second set as well. Sindhu gave vent to her attacking instincts, which made Tunjung commit mistakes.
