Indian High Commission vandalized: The issue of vandalism in the Indian High Commission has been raised in the British Parliament. The vandalism at the Indian High Commission by pro-Khalistan extremists was raised in the House of Commons on Thursday, with British MPs demanding action against Khalistani hooligans and protection of India’s diplomatic staff.
Conservative Party MP Bob Blackman called for a debate in Parliament to discuss steps to ban the groups behind the violence. Opposition Labor MP Gareth Thomas asked the leader of the House of Commons about the steps being taken to ensure that there was no repetition.

Cabinet minister Penny Mordaunt calls for review of security measures
Addressing the House of Business, Cabinet Minister Penny Mordaunt announced a review of security measures around the Indian mission here, reiterating an earlier statement by Foreign Secretary James Cleverley. Mordaunt told MPs, “We strongly condemn the acts of vandalism and violence outside the Indian High Commission in London. This was a completely unacceptable action against the High Commission and its staff.”
He said work is underway with the Metropolitan Police to review security measures around the High Commission and any changes will be made to ensure the safety of its staff so that they can go about their business while serving both this country and India. I can know

Conservative Party MP said – it is a matter of shame
Blackman, a Conservative MP, said Sunday’s attack was the sixth such attack on the Indian High Commission in as many years. He said, ‘The hooliganism of Khalistani goons outside the Indian High Commission on Sunday is a matter of shame for this country.’
He said that Khalistani are carrying out or trying to carry out such attacks in Canada, America and Australia. Now Khalistani terrorists have started getting shelter in our country too. Can there be a debate in the House on what action we can take to ensure the security of the Indian High Commission and to control Khalistani supporters?
