Blown senses with deadly inswinger
Renuka’s deadly inswinger bowled Alice Kepsy, who was scoring 3 runs in her second over, in such a way that the batsman was holding his finger under his teeth. This sight was seen on the very first ball of the third over. Renuka, who came to bowl the ball over the wicket for Ellis, made a deadly inswinger keeping this ball on the right line and length. Before Kepsy could even try to touch the bat with this ball, the off-stump was uprooted and fell. Due to Renuka’s fatal bowling, number three batsman Kepsy had to return to the pavilion after scoring 3 runs.
After the brilliant bowling of Renuka, the English team came out to bat first and scored 151 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Although the start of Team India was not good and the Indian team could score 62 runs losing 3 wickets in the first 10 overs.
