However, the captain surprised with his amazing fielding in the third and final ODI against New Zealand in Indore on Tuesday. He took such a spectacular catch with one hand that cricket lovers were stunned.

This scene was seen in the 39th over. When Kuldeep Yadav bowled the fifth ball of this over to Lockie Ferguson, the batsman tried to play it over midwicket, but the ball did not hit his bat properly, due to which he missed. As soon as the ball bounced in the air, the skipper swung into action and caught the ball flying over mid-wicket with one hand to leave the critics speechless.

Devon Conway was also dismissed
Due to Rohit’s brilliant catch, Ferguson had to return to the pavilion after scoring 7 runs. Earlier, Rohit dismissed New Zealand’s biggest wicket by catching a catch. Devon Conway, who was batting briskly for a century, dodged Umran’s ball and tried to play the ball from mid-wicket, but fielder Rohit Sharma, standing here, caught the ball between his legs and sent him to the pavilion.
However, with this victory, Team India also achieved the title of becoming the No. 1 team in ODIs. Now Rohit’s team will play a three-match T20 series against New Zealand from 27 January.
