New Delhi: Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli made a big bang by playing an innings of 186 runs on the fourth day of the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia. Due to his brilliant innings, Team India scored 571 in the first innings. Virat ended a three-year wait to score a century in Tests. Kohli received praise from cricket fans across the world after his knock, but his wife Anushka Sharma won hearts with a revelation about the star batsman. Anushka told by putting a story on Instagram that Kohli was ill while landing on the ground on Sunday. He wrote- Playing with illness with this patience always inspires me.
he didn’t look like he was sick
However, after Anushka’s post surfaced, all-rounder Akshar Patel, who scored 79 runs with Kohli, has given a big statement about Kohli. Akshar was asked in the press conference whether Kohli was ill during his innings. On this question Akshar laughed and said – I do not know. The way he was running between the wickets, it didn’t look like he was ill! Akshar further said – in such hot weather they made such a great partnership and ran such a good run. It was fun batting with him.

I feel good contributing with the bat
During this, Akshar also talked about his batting. He said- “I feel good to contribute with the bat. I believe I can hit.” I am following the first Test and getting a little insight into my abilities with the bat.”
wanted to score as many runs as possible
Akshar played some brilliant strokes in Ahmedabad. He hit sixes in a quick manner. When asked if he was given any special instructions for attacking batting, Akshar replied in the negative. He said- “I had no fixed role. Just wanted to score as many runs as possible.” On this pitch, Akshar believed that the conditions would get easier for the batsmen. He said – once you adjust at the crease, even then it becomes easy to bat on this wicket.
