New Delhi: Team India had to face defeat against Australia in the third Test match played in Indore. There were many twists and turns in this match, but Ravindra Jadeja’s no ball remained the subject of discussion. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar believes that the no-ball bowled by Ravindra Jadeja was the turning point in the third India-Australia Test in Indore.
Marnus Labushen was out on this ball, but he survived due to no ball. Labushen was yet to open his account during Australia’s first innings when Jadeja dismissed him. Although the TV umpire saw that Jadeja had gone beyond the crease. Labushen scored 31 runs while sharing an important 96-run partnership with Usman Khawaja for the second wicket.

Jadeja’s no ball had to lose the match
Gavaskar feels that the no-ball bowled by Jadeja cost India the match. He said- “If you look back on the Test match, you would say that maybe this is the reason that cost India the match. Marnus was dismissed for a duck, but later shared a 96-run partnership. I think that was probably the turning point. India had to lose the match because of the no-ball.
