New Delhi: Team India captain Rohit Sharma is often in discussion about his press conference. Rohit Sharma’s press conference once again became a topic of discussion ahead of the third Test against Australia starting in Indore from Wednesday. Rohit set the tone even before the start of the pre-match press conference. On being introduced to the journalists as the Indian captain, Rohit reacted in such a way that he spoiled the party. Actually, before the press conference, Rohit Sharma was being introduced as the captain, in such a situation he said- “Everyone knows man.”
This answer was given on the debate of Gill vs KL
However, as soon as the press conference started, Rohit was asked about the KL Rahul vs Shubman Gill debate. To this, he said that removing Rahul as the vice-captain does not mean that he will be kept out of the playing XI. He said- “When we talk about sportspersons going through tough times then any individual will be given enough time to prove himself. The removal of the vice-captaincy does not indicate anything as far as both Gill and KL are concerned. All 17-18 players in the squad are on the count. We haven’t finalized our XI yet. I prefer to declare it at the toss. India are one win away from securing their berth in the World Test Championship final to be held at The Oval in London in June. “It will be a great achievement,” said Rohit.

we are playing in challenging conditions
“Yes these are our home conditions, but we are playing in these challenging conditions,” Rohit said about the pitch. “It is not easy for batsmen to score runs consistently. We were put under pressure in the last Test and we can expect the same here.” The skipper said- Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin are “really top-order batsmen”. “He is a quality batsman. It definitely gives us confidence.”
