New Delhi: Wicketkeeper KS Bharat has revealed the conversation between him and captain Rohit Sharma regarding the DRS call during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series against Australia. KS Bharat, who made his debut in the first Test against Australia in Nagpur earlier this month, revealed how Rohit Sharma showed his faith in him on DRS calls.
you are the best judge in this matter
He said that the India captain told him to express his views without worrying about the consequences. They said- Rohit Brother and I had some conversation. Rohit said- You are the best judge in this matter because you live closest to the batsman. So whatever you feel, just give your opinion. You, me and the bowler – all three of us will discuss and then decide. Rohit also said- don’t worry whether it will go in our favor or theirs. Just trust your instinct. Whatever you feel, just put it out there.

be ready on number 6
Bharat took four catches and made one stumping in India’s victories in the first two Tests. He was promoted to No.6 in India’s chase of 115 in Delhi. He scored 23 runs off 22 balls. Which included three fours and a six. Bharat said, Rohit bhai told me that I will land at number six. He said- I was ready at that time. As a player, when you sit out, you can’t rest and say, ‘It’s not going to be my day.’ You always have to be in the game. I am lucky that I got a chance to bat. The 3rd Test between India and Australia will be played from Wednesday, March 1 at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
