The last two Tests were captained by Steve Smith where Australia won one match while they managed to hold one match to a draw. But after the match, Steve Smith has given a big statement.
‘I’m getting a little old’
After the match, when Steve Smith was asked whether he would come again to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in India after four years. On which Steve Smith laughingly said that ‘I am getting a bit old’, it is being estimated from his statement that perhaps Smith will not come on the next tour of India. Because even before this he had said that this could be his last Test tour in India. Let us tell you that under the captaincy of Smith, Australia has always performed brilliantly in India.

Spinners bowled brilliantly
On the other hand, regarding the match and the series, Steve Smith said that ‘the pitch was flat in this match, the boys had a great time’. The wicket here was so flat that we could not get to the result. The spinners bowled really well. Murphy and Kuhnmann bowled sparingly. Lyon bowled his best in the first innings here, the best I have seen him bowl.

welcome to india
This series ended slowly. It’s amazing to play in India, the reception is amazing. The crowd has been amazing. We started playing better as the series progressed. One hour of madness in Delhi had thrown us out of that match.
