New Delhi: The Patiala House Court on Saturday sent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to 4-day custody of Special Cell of Delhi Police in connection with alleged supply of illegal arms to Kala Jathedi gang. The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) of the Patiala House Court granted four-day custody of Lawrence Bishnoi to the Special Cell.

The Delhi Police had sought four days’ custody for questioning in an Arms Act case related to the recovery of 25 pistols from arms smuggler Mukund Singh. who allegedly supplied arms and ammunition to the Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Jathedi gang. Police said that Lawrence Vishnoi and Kala Jhathedi have to be interrogated face to face. Lawrence has to be taken to Punjab. Lawrence was then lodged in Bhatinda Jail in Punjab and was using mobile. According to the Delhi Police, on May 26, Lawrence Bishnoi was interrogated inside Mandoli Jail by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police following the court’s order.

During interrogation, Lawrence Bishnoi told the police that when he was lodged in Bhatinda jail in April 2023. During this he was in contact with Kala Jateri and Naresh Sethi through mobile phones. He should arrange weapons for his gang members. After which Lawrence Bishnoi asked Goldie Brar to arrange for the weapon. Goldie Brar tells Lawrence that her contact Dilpreet Singh will arrange the weapon. The accused Lawrence Bishnoi was formally arrested in the case on 26.05.23.
