Hyderabad Suicide Case: A 20-year-old medical college student in Hyderabad committed suicide on Monday. It is being told that the student had stopped the medicine of depression. He cut his private part with a knife. He died due to excessive bleeding. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The family members are shocked by the death of the son.
Student found unconscious at home, declared dead in hospital
Dixit Reddy (20), a resident of Yadagirigutta, was a second-year MBBS student. He was found unconscious at his house on Sunday night. There were wound marks in many places in his private part. He had lost a lot of blood. The family members were shocked to see this. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but it was too late. He was declared dead by the doctors. Reddy lived with his mother and sister.
Dixit was shocked by friend’s death
Dixit Reddy, a student at Hyderabad’s Gandhi Hospital, was shocked by the suicide of one of his classmates. Dixit Reddy had attempted suicide four years ago as well. he survived. After this his medicine was going on.
Earlier also many students committed suicide
On June 4, Manasa, a BDS final year student, was found burnt in her hostel room in Khammam. Earlier in February, Dr D Preeti, a PG student at Kakatiya Medical College, died under controversial circumstances. In that incident, his senior doctor Mohammad Saif is under investigation.
Earlier this year, two more doctors died by suicide in Telangana. In March, 21-year-old MBBS third-year student M Sanath and in February, 22-year-old fourth-year student Dasari Harsha had committed suicide.
