Ingredients needed to make semolina khandvi
Semolina – 1 cup
Curd – 1 cup
– Water – 1 cup
– Ginger – 2 tbsp
Green chili – 2
Oil for greasing – 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Tadka
– Rye – 1/2 tbsp
Whole red chili – 2
Green chili – 1
Curry leaves – 1 tbsp
– Oil – 2 tbsp
How to make semolina khandvi
To make semolina khandvi, first grind it by adding curd, ginger, green chilies, water, 1 cup semolina.
After this, filter this mixture with a sieve and keep it covered for 5 minutes.
Then add cumin, chili flakes, salt as per taste and green coriander leaves to this mixture.
Keep in mind that the consistency of the batter should be flowing.
Now take a plate to make Khandvi and grease it with oil.
After this, put two tablespoons of batter in the greased plate and spread it on the plate.
Now heat the water by placing it on the gas and steam the Khandvi in its steam for 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes, remove the plate from the steam and when it cools down, cut it lengthwise with the help of a knife and roll each piece. Your khandvi is ready, now prepare for the tempering.
