Surankote: A grenade has been found near the wall of former Surankote MLA Chaudhary Muhammad Akram’s house in Poonch area. The special thing is that there was a minor explosion in his house four days ago. Police is further investigating the matter. According to the police, CCTV footage around the spot is being scrutinized after taking the statement of the former MLA.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Indian Army had busted two hideouts of terrorists in Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from these hideouts. One place was in Ratta Jabra forest and the other place was in Dhoba forest. Earlier, the police had freed five youths from the clutches of the terrorists.
