General Elections 2024: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made a big announcement regarding the 2024 general elections. Mamta Banerjee has said that her party TMC will not forge an alliance with anyone in the general elections and will contest the elections alone on its own. Mamta has said that we will contest elections with the support of the people, not any political party.

According to news agency ANI, Mamta Banerjee said that BJP, Congress and CPI(M) are all together. Everyone is playing the communal card. TMC can single-handedly fight these three forces. We did this in 2021 as well. TMC will forge an alliance with the people in 2024. We will not go with any other political party. We will fight alone with the support of the people.

Mamta mentioned BJP’s victory in Tripura elections

Referring to the Congress’ victory in the Sagardighi bypolls on Thursday and the BJP’s victory in the Tripura Assembly polls, Mamata Banerjee alleged that those voting for the CPI(M) or the Congress party were actually voting for the BJP.

Let us tell you that after the latter’s victory in the Sagardighi bypolls, a political standoff broke out between the TMC and the Congress, with both the parties accusing each other of working in the interest of the BJP.

Mamta told the reason for the defeat in the Sagardighi by-election

Mamata Banerjee attributed her party’s defeat in the Sagardighi bypoll to an unethical alliance. Mamata Banerjee said, “I don’t blame anyone for my defeat in the Sagardighi bypoll, but we strongly condemn the unethical alliance between the Congress and the BJP.”

The TMC supremo said, “If we count the vote percentage of BJP, this time they have transferred their vote to Congress party, so Congress had votes of Congress-CPIM alliance and BJP transferred their votes to them. Given.”
