A dinner was organized by French President Emmanuel Macron in honor of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which R Madhavan also arrived. Madhavan shared some pictures and videos of the dinner with PM Modi on Instagram (Actor Maddy). During this, Madhavan also wrote a post in which he praised the work of the governments of both the countries.

R Madhavan wrote in his Insta post that the passion and dedication to do good for the people of India and France was clearly visible during the Bastille Day celebration in Paris on 14 July 2023. I was completely surprised at this point. Madhavan wrote that there was positivity in the air and mutual respect for each other.
Madhavan further wrote that I sincerely urge that their (France and India) vision and dreams give the right results at the right time for all of us. President Macron clicked a selfie for us. The Prime Minister of our country Narendra Modi graciously and lovingly stood up to be a part of this selfie. It was such a moment, which makes that picture special. This moment will always be imprinted in my mind as such. Thank you President Macron and Modi ji for the incredible humility. May France and India always prosper together.
