France Riots: French President Emmanuel Macron has blamed video games for the riots following the murder of a 17-year-old boy. Speaking during a crisis security meeting to discuss the ongoing violence in the country, Macron said a third of those arrested were between the ages of 14 and 18. It seems that some youths are reliving the video games that got them addicted on the streets.
The French President said that it is the responsibility of the parents to keep the children at home. It is important for everyone’s peace of mind that a parent’s responsibility is fully followed. He asked the parents to keep their children away from violence.
Inflammatory videos spread on Tiktok and Snapchat
Macron also alleged that the riots were being streamed live on social media platforms such as Snapchat and TikTok. He has urged for the removal of sensitive videos related to the riots. Macron said that such videos were made on social media, which incited violence.
He said the government would ask social media companies to reveal to the authorities the identities of those who use these platforms to spread disorder and promote violence.

this is the whole matter
On Tuesday 27 June, two police officers stopped a car on a street in Nanterre. During the argument, the police officer pulled out a pistol and shot Nahel, the driver, in the head. The driver ran the car fast and after going some distance became the victim of the accident. This was the reason of his death. After this incident, the police officer was suspended and he was taken into custody. Riots are happening for the last three days against this incident.
