In Tik Tok: France has banned the Chinese app Tik Tok. Government employees have been advised not to download Tik Tok and other entertainment applications.
French Civil Service Minister Stanislas Guerini has issued an announcement in this regard on Friday. He said that soon guidelines will be issued to ban Tick Talk.

The US government has called the Chinese app Tiktok a threat to security. There too, the demand to ban it in the entire country has intensified. On Thursday, TickTock CEO Sho Chi Ju had to appear before the US Congress.
The US MP asked many questions like data privacy of Tiktok users, sharing it with the Chinese government. American lawmakers say that they did not get answers to most of the questions. During this time the ban in India was also lifted.

These countries have already imposed restrictions
Before France, New Zealand, United Kingdom, India and Canada have also asked not to use the Tiktok app. Tiktok is banned in these countries.
The Modi government of India had banned Tiktok in the year 2020. The government had banned 59 Chinese apps on 29 June 2020. This was the first time that such a large number of mobile apps have been banned by the government. Tiktok was the first name in this list.
Apart from this, popular apps like CamScanner and PUBG were also banned. These apps were being called a threat regarding data security.
