Suspended BJP MLA from Telangana T Raja booked in Mumbai for making inflammatory speech

Mumbai News: A hate speech case has been registered in Maharashtra against suspended Telangana MLA T Raja Singh from the BJP. The Mumbai Police has registered a case against Raja at the Dadar police station for his provocative speech at a rally held about two months ago.

Raja has been accused of making statements that are likely to promote hatred and enmity between two communities. After receiving a complaint in this regard, action has been taken against them under section 153 A (1) (a) of the IPC.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the Supreme Court had also expressed concern over the increasing cases of hate speech. Along with this, the Solicitor General was questioned about the action taken against the hate speech in Maharashtra.

On January 29, Raja gave a provocative statement

T Raja Singh attended Sakal Hindu Samaj rally in Mumbai on 29 January. He targeted a particular community, asking Hindus to unite. In the rally, he appealed to boycott love jihad and buying anything from minority shops.

BJP suspended for 9 years

T Raja Singh’s full name is Thakur Raja Singh, he is the MLA from Goshamahal constituency of Telangana. He was arrested for making remarks against the Prophet. After this, the BJP suspended him from the party for 9 years. His Facebook and Instagram accounts have also been banned.
