Finland NATO: The way has been cleared for Finland to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg gave this information on Monday. He informed that Finland will become a full member of NATO on 4 April. He will be the 31st member.

Stoltenberg said it was a historic day. Tomorrow Tuesday we will welcome Finland as the 31st member of NATO. The Finnish flag will be flown for the first time at NATO Headquarters.

Finland joins NATO after Türkiye’s support

Jens Stoltenberg reported that in 2022 Finland had applied to become a member of NATO along with Sweden. Turkey vetoed Finland’s membership on that. Later the green signal was given.

He said that on Tuesday NATO would discuss the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will also participate in it.

The full name of NATO is North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It is also called North Atlantic Treaty Organization or Atlantic Alliance in Hindi. It is the largest military organization in the world. It started on 4 April 1949 during the Second World War.
