Nirmala Sitharaman: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached the American city of New York today. Where she will attend the 2023 Spring Meeting of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
She will also attend the G20 meetings and other related meetings to be held from April 10 to 16. The meetings will take place at the WBG and the IMF Headquarters in Washington DC. Finance ministers and central bankers from around the world will participate in the Spring Meetings. Earlier, Finance Minister Sitharaman was received at the New York airport by Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

Will preside over the meeting of G-20 Finance Ministers
The Indian Finance Ministry delegation will be led by Sitharaman and officials from the Ministry and the RBI. The Finance Minister will also attend the G-20 Finance Ministers and Bank Governors Hosted Meeting, World Bank Development Committee meetings, apart from the IMF and World Bank Group meeting in the US.

Finance Minister Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das will jointly chair the MCBG meeting for the second time on April 12-13. He will also meet economists, entrepreneurs, think tanks and investors from across the world during the visit. She will also meet people from the Indian community.
