Actually, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had reached Delhi NIT to attend a BJP program on the occasion of completion of nine years of Narendra Modi government.
Interacting with the students of NIT Delhi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that no country can progress without adopting technology and research and development. He also advised the students to understand local and global development.

Referring to the effects of the COVID pandemic and the Ukraine war on the prices of petroleum products and food grains, the External Affairs Minister said that globalization has broken down the boundaries between inside and outside and you should understand what is happening around you.
There was a light moment in the conversation when a student asked Jaishankar that in your career you have worked as a diplomat, bureaucrat and Union minister, which life do you like the most? Answering this question, the minister quipped, “Everyone likes youth.”

During the conversation, the External Affairs Minister emphasized that there have been many changes in the last 9 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Citing Modi’s recent US visit, Jaishankar said that PM Modi has a different image, especially as a senior, experienced and credible leader in the democratic world. He said that Modi’s thoughts and decisions have an impact.
Jaishankar said, “In his foreign visits, Modi represents the strength and talent of 149 crore Indians. The world is now looking towards India and its youth. The External Affairs Minister also highlighted the Modi government’s initiative to make India a semiconductor manufacturing hub and set up a National Research Foundation.
