Emergency Landing: Emergency landing of Indigo flight going from Bangalore to Varanasi has been done at Shamshadabad airport in Telangana. According to the information, technical fault was reported in the aircraft coming to Varanasi on Tuesday. After this, the flight made an emergency landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad, Telangana.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that IndiGo flight 6E897 took off from Bengaluru to Varanasi but made an emergency landing at 6:15 am after diverting to Shamshadabad airport.

Officials have cited a technical problem for the diversion. The DGCA said that there were 137 passengers on board the aircraft and all are safe. A senior official said the DGCA has ordered an inquiry into the incident. Let us tell you that on Sunday, Etihad Airways had to make an emergency landing from Bengaluru with 200 passengers.

Technical glitch was also reported in Etihad Airways flight, after which crew members made an emergency landing at Bengaluru airport. After the investigation, the flight took off again for Abu Dhabi.

Earlier on Saturday, a cargo plane going from Delhi to Dubai collided with a bird. After the bird collided with the cargo plane, it was landed back at Delhi airport after issuing an alert. After investigation, it was found that the windshield of the plane had cracked due to the bird hit.
