Imran Khan

New Delhi: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has described former Prime Minister Imran Khan as the “enemy” of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). He said that the former PM has taken the country’s politics to the point where either he will be killed or we will be killed.

The senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) leader’s remarks created a flutter among political circles, especially Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), reported news agency Press Trust of India. Gave. Sanaullah is considered close to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

‘Either Imran Khan or we will be killed’

Talking to some private TV channels on Sunday, Sanaullah said, ‘Either Imran Khan or we will be killed. He has now taken the country’s politics to a point where only one of the two can remain – PTI or PMLN. The entire existence of PMLN is in danger and we can go to any extent against it to settle scores with it. Khan has turned politics into enmity. Khan is now our enemy and will be treated as such.”

Imran Khan was attacked

In November last year, Imran Khan was attacked during a rally in Wazirabad. On that attack, Imran Khan suspected Rana Sanaullah to be behind the assassination attempt. He had also mentioned the names of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a senior ISI officer in an application for an FIR for their role in the assassination plot.

PTI also urged the Supreme Court to take cognizance of this

Reacting strongly to Sanaullah’s statement, PTI leader and former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry said, “It is a direct life threat to Khan from the PMLN coalition government.” PTI has also urged the Supreme Court to take cognizance of this as it is an open threat to Khan’s life.

Former minister Shireen Mazari said in a tweet, in case anyone had any doubts about Sanaullah’s murderous intent towards Khan. This is a direct threat from the Home Minister to the convoy of miscreants. Judiciary should pay attention. PTI said that it has never seen in the past that a ruling party openly announced the elimination of a popular leader of Pakistan.
