An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit 295 km northeast of Leh district in Ladakh on Sunday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. The earthquake occurred at 2:16 am at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km from Katra and at a depth of 81 km.

The second earthquake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale and was felt at 7.56 am. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km. The third earthquake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale and was felt at 8.29 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the third earthquake was in Kishtwar at a depth of 5 km.

Earthquake of 5.4 magnitude hit Jammu and Kashmir

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit Doda in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, damaging dozens of buildings and injuring at least five people.
