EARTH HOUR VIDEO: On Saturday evening, on Earth Hour Day, the lights went off all over the country for one hour. The lights of offices, government houses, offices, religious places and national heritage sites were switched off. Held on the last Saturday of March
Every year Earth Hour is organized in the world by the World Wide Fund for Nature organization. It is celebrated every year on the last Saturday of March. This year it was celebrated on March 25 between 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
For the first time the lights were turned off in Sydney, Australia
For the first time in 2007, on March 31, Earth Hour was organized in the city of Sydney, Australia. Its main objective is to save energy consumption and protect nature.
171 MW electricity was saved in Delhi alone
Earth Hour is currently being supported by 190 countries of the world. Last year only 171 MW of electricity was saved in Delhi.
