Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023: The 17th Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023, presented by Eve Era and Ashok Prasad Abhishek and Vinod Gupta, has come to an end in Mumbai. In this award ceremony, Azamgarh MP and Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua received the Best Actor Award. At the same time, the work of veterans like Pradeep Pandey Chintu, Amrapali Dubey, Abhay Sinha, Dev Singh, Pramod Shastri, Rajneesh Mishra was also appreciated in this ceremony.
Nirahua-Chintu got the best actor award
Actually, many stalwarts of Bhojpuri were involved in this award show. But, the most attention-grabbing actors were Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua and Pradeep Pandey Chintu. Nirahua was given the Best Actor Award for his 2019 film ‘Sher-e-Hindustan’. At the same time, Pradeep Pandey Chintu, who ruled the hearts of the audience, was also awarded the Best Actor Award. He received this award for the film ‘Yeh Kahani Hai Laila Majnu Ki’ in the year 2020-21. Earlier, Chintu has also been awarded the Best Actor Award at ‘Ayodhya Bhojpuri Cinema Award’ and ‘Jharkhand International Film Award’.
Amrapali Dubey received the Best Actress Award
Bhojpuri queen Amrapali Dubey grabbed eyeballs at the award show. Amrapali Dubey received the Best Actress Award at the Bhojpuri Film Awards 2023. He was given this award for his 2020 film ‘Lagal Raha Batasha’. Also versatile actor Dev Singh was given the Best Negative Actor Award for the film ‘Kasam Badna Wale Ki 2’.
Apart from this, Pramod Shastri received the Best Director Award for ‘Chhaliya’ in 2019 and Rajneesh Mishra for the film ‘Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye’ in 2020-21. Producer Abhay Sinha won the Best Popular Film Award for ‘Dulhin Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye’, while Ratnakar Kumar won the Best Film Social Issue Award for ‘Babul’.
It is to be known that this time the Bhojpuri Film Awards included films that came in two years i.e. 2019 and 2020-21, as the event was pushed forward by one year due to the global pandemic Corona. But this time when it was organized, there was a lot of enthusiasm and excitement in it.
