New Delhi: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has been called for questioning by the CBI today. Meanwhile, Sisodia has sought time from the CBI. He said that he is currently busy preparing for the Delhi budget. They have informed CBI. Also requested the CBI to call him at the end of February or in March.
Deputy CM Sisodia has said that he has already been cooperating in this matter, in future also he will answer all the questions. He said that I have requested him to give time any day after February due to the preparation of Delhi’s budget. The preparation of the budget is in its final stage and will be completed by the end of February.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today sent summons for questioning to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia regarding the Delhi liquor scam. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday summoned Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for questioning in the Delhi Excise Policy matter, nearly three months after filing a charge sheet in the matter.
He has been called for questioning on the basis of fresh evidence found against him. The summons is in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy for the national capital.
Inquiry has already been done
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sisodia, who also holds the charge of the Excise Department, was questioned on October 17 last year and his house and bank lockers were also searched in connection with the case. The CBI had registered an FIR in a special court in August last year against Sisodia and 14 others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 477A (forgery of record), and Section 7 of IPC is included.
