ED had taken the name of Kavita in the charge sheet
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had named K Kavita in the charge sheet in the Excise Policy case, accusing it of holding 65 per cent stake in a liquor company. He was questioned by the probe agency on December 11, 2022, at his Hyderabad residence.
Targeting the agency, Kavita had said that the probe agency is knocking in an election-bound state where the BJP is not ruling. “The Modi government was elected eight years ago and since then at least nine democratically elected governments in different states were toppled and the BJP came to power,” Kavita said.
Sisodia was arrested after 8 hours of questioning
Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday after an 8-hour-long interrogation in a case related to alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of Delhi’s now-cancelled excise policy. Explain that Sisodia has approached the Supreme Court on Tuesday, challenging the arrest by the CBI in the liquor policy case.
