Delhi Liquor Scam: The bail application of Manish Sisodia, arrested in the Delhi Excise case, may be heard today in Rouse Avenue Court. Manish Sisodia was sent by the court on CBI remand for 5 days, the period of which is ending today. After the remand is over, CBI will present Sisodia in the court located on DDU Marg.
Regarding Sisodia’s bail plea, his lawyer Rishikesh said that there is a possibility of hearing on the application filed before Special Judge MK Nagpal today. Let us inform that Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday on charges of alleged corruption (Delhi Liquor Scam).

Delhi Police has made elaborate security arrangements for Manish Sisodia’s appearance at Rouse Avenue Court. It is being said that the Aam Aadmi Party workers may once again protest against the arrest of Manish Sisodia, in view of which the police have laid siege near the CBI headquarters.
Manish Sisodia has resigned
Manish Sisodia had approached the Supreme Court challenging the arrest, from where he was shocked. After this, Sisodia resigned from the post of minister on Tuesday. Apart from him, Delhi’s Jail and Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was earlier jailed, also tendered his resignation. The resignations of both the ministers were accepted by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
