Delhi Liquor Scam: Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI late on Sunday night after an 8-hour marathon questioning. Regarding this, the party is conducting a massive protest against the BJP across the country. If CBI sources are to be believed, in view of the ruckus, CBI can get Sisodia produced through VC. The production is to be held at Rouse Avenue Court at 2 pm on Monday. Delhi Police has made elaborate security arrangements regarding this.
Kejriwal said – officers were against the arrest

Amidst all this, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has given a big statement regarding Sisodia. CM Kejriwal tweeted that I have been told that most of the CBI officers were against the arrest of Manish, they all respect him very much and there is no evidence against him. But the political pressure to arrest him was so great that he had to obey his political masters.

CBI claims – Liquor dealers benefited from the policy
Sisodia was accused that his new liquor policy benefited the dealers a lot. According to the CBI, it is also alleged that various irregularities including change in excise policy, extension of L-1 license without approval, extension of L-1 license without approval, giving undue benefits to licensees, etc.
