Delhi Liquor Scam: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday granted bail to five accused in the Delhi Liquor Scam. These include two former officers of the Excise Department. All of them were not arrested by the investigating agency CBI during the investigation.
He got bail from the court
Businessman Sameer Mahendru, Arun Ramachandra Pillai and Mutha Gautam, besides former excise department officials Kuldeep Singh, Narendra Singh were granted bail by Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court. Earlier, the court had granted him interim bail.

Businessman Sameer Mahendru is in judicial custody in a case related to the probe being carried out by the Enforcement Directorate in the liquor scam.
So will Manish Sisodia also be released?
The accused who got bail from the court are related to the same case in which Manish Sisodia has been arrested. In such a situation, the big question is whether Manish Sisodia will also get relief from the High Court? At the moment it is not possible to say till a decision is taken.
Manish Sisodia arrested on 27 February
On Monday i.e. February 27, he was arrested after 8 hours of questioning in the liquor policy case. After this, he was presented in the court, from where he was sent on remand for 5 days. Manish Sisodia reached the Supreme Court on Tuesday against the arrest. But there was no relief. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has advised him to follow the tradition. Also refused to interfere in this case.
CJI said- go to High Court for bail
CJI asked why did you come here? First you should go to the High Court. Take bail from there. It has been said on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party that they will approach the High Court against the arrest of Manish Sisodia.
