Delhi Liquor Policy Case: The bail plea of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in Delhi Liquor Policy case will be heard today in Rouse Avenue Court. Sisodia has been brought to the court for hearing. Sisodia was arrested first by the CBI and then by the ED.
Let us tell you that earlier on April 6, the bail plea of Sisodia was heard in the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has sought response from the CBI on the petition and fixed April 20 for the next hearing. On April 5, the Rouse Avenue Court, while rejecting the bail plea, sent him to ED custody till April 17.
Special Court dismissed the petition
Earlier, the Rouse Avenue Court rejected Sisodia’s bail plea saying that his release could adversely affect the investigation and affect the progress of the case. Sisodia is alleged to have played a key role in a conspiracy related to payment of bribes to the tune of Rs 90-100 crore to his associates in the Delhi government.

The court had made important remarks
While hearing the bail plea, the court had said that Sisodia had played the most important role in the liquor policy case. And was prominently involved in the formulation and implementation of the liquor policy. Explain that Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after several interrogations in the liquor policy case.
