Karnataka Polls: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday filed his nomination as the BJP candidate from Shiggaon assembly constituency. He was accompanied by BJP President JP Nadda and Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeepa. Before nomination, CM Bommai also did a road show in Shiggaon.

Let us inform that in the 2018 assembly elections, CM Bommai had won the Shiggaon seat by getting 49 per cent votes. He defeated Congress candidate Syed Azimpir Khadri. CM Bommai became MLA for the third consecutive time from 2008.

Nadda said – nomination here is a way to advance Karnataka

JP Nadda, who reached Karnataka, said that the nomination of CM Bommai is not just an MLA, but it is a way to take Karnataka forward. He said that any leader of the Congress…he is not a leader but the people running the ATM and this ATM is Automatic Transfer of Money, you will make him sit and from there Modi ji will send the money and the money will be transferred to the Delhi Congress.

Siddaramaiah also filled the form, said – this is my last election

Karnataka Congress leader Siddaramaiah made a big announcement at a rally in Varuna, Mysuru on Wednesday. In the nomination rally, he told the public that this is my last election. I will leave politics after this assembly elections. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that this assembly election would be his last election as a candidate.

Congress has fielded former Congress chief minister Siddaramaiah as its candidate from Varuna constituency. Siddaramaiah filed his nomination papers from Varuna seat today. After the nomination, Siddaramaiah addressed a rally in his home constituency.
